Can AI make a 3D model from product photos?
Four AI models built a 3D shoe from four product photos. Fable 5.1 came closest. None of them got the leather right. Our 3D artist had the same photos, and we measured every model against them.
Can AI do 3D modeling?
We gave two AI models the brief a 3D studio gets, the manufacturer's CAD file and the product page, and asked for the finished thing. Then we measured what came back.
