A private viewing, sent as a link

Baragoni sends its clients a 3D viewer of the Atelier Collection: four handmade bags they turn on their own screen, in every leather, before they choose one.
The challenge

Where it started

Baragoni is a small luxury leather label from Serbia. Its Atelier Collection is four bags, Capri, Venus, Artistica and Poetica, handcrafted in Serbia, each offered in five or six leathers.

What got in the way

A bag like this is chosen on its details: the quilting on the flap, the gold hardware, how a burgundy leather sits next to gold. A photograph shows one bag, in one leather, from one side. So how does a client see the bag they have in mind, in the leather they want, from every side, when it is not in front of them?

What we built

What we built

A 3D viewer of the whole collection, sent as a private link. The client switches between the four bags, turns each one to see it from every side, and changes the leather on the same model.

Baragoni sends the link to its own clients, privately, as a premium service.

How it works

Each bag is one model, and each leather is a material on it. Changing the colour changes the material on the same bag, so the client compares leathers on the exact shape they are looking at.

The quilting, the stitching on the flap, the gold monogram and the clasp are all part of the model, so they are there from every angle the client turns to.

The viewer runs on the Threedium platform, in the browser, on a phone as well as a computer. It is one link, so the client opens it straight from a message, with nothing to install.
